Location in Gettysburg is incredible. The hotel is right at the northern base of Cemetery Ridge, right across from the Jennie Wade Museum. If you know about the battle there, that will ring a bell. Easy access to just about everything. Downtown is within walking distance - a bit far, but doable. The room was clean. It is an older place, but the rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful with any questions we might have had. Breakfast was one of the best we have had while travelling. Not a lot of seating, but the food was fresh and tasty. Parking is available and there are a lot of small shops within a short walk. There was a place with frozen custard right around the corner from the hotel - very good. We ate at Clementina's - about a ten minute drive - the food was delicious (and I grew up in Little Italy in Chicago).

Perfect location to walk to restaurant to meet friends for dinner. I used to live in the area and it is located just on the outskirts of where it gets really busy. It’s easy access to the main highway. My room sat off from the main street so it was quiet. I did have a family emergency and had to leave just after checking in. The showers were nice walk in with a tub to worry about tripping over. The staff was very sweet at check-in and had her little dog with her as a greeter to all of the guests. ”Pickles” was an awesome hotel ambassador! I was supposed to bring my husband and two little dogs. The room I stayed in was perfect if your pet joins you because of laminate flooring and not carpet. My room was right next to the check-in office and was very quiet and away from the main street.

Room was large on the 2nd level facing the road but very minimal traffic noise. Most rooms easy park and enter directly outside on the ground level. We had our small dog with us. Lobby had an elevator and a wide curved interior staircase. Then walked through the breakfast area on the 2nd level to an outside covered balcony walkway to our room. (so walked by several other room doors) Minor concern walking through the breakfast area with our small dog but no problem. Standard basic breakfast options (2nd floor) with coffee and tea options in the lobby. Clean and comfy room and likely more quiet overall staying on a weeknight being off season. Easy minutes away drive to the historic sites or to walk to look at shops and find a restaurant. We would stay here again.

The location is excellent. The new visitors' center (for battlefield bus tour, highly recommend), which is next the Jennie Wade house, and Dobbin House Tavern (highly recommend) are across the streets from the Inn. There's also a cute cafe, Bantam Coffee Roaster, next door (you just walk through the parking area). I grabbed a coffee there and ate my free breakfast at the table outside, it was a great start to my day. I didn't spend much time inside the room but everything seemed clean and tidy.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast had many choices which was nice and accommodating to different dietary needs. Having a water and coffee station that you could use 24/7 was also a nice addition. The rooms were a nice size, ( stayed in the room with a king bed) were very clean, and the bathroom was a good size.. An enjoyable stay overall! Very convenient location. Close to golf courses, Great dining, and the battlefields of Gettysburg.
